What is the Political Courage Test?

Arkansas State Legislative Election 2006 National Political Awareness Test

The Political Courage Test asks candidates which items they will support if elected. It does not ask them to indicate which items they will oppose. Through extensive research of public polling data, we discovered that voters are more concerned with what candidates would support when elected to office, not what they oppose. If a candidate does not select a response to any part or all of any question, it does not necessarily indicate that the candidate is opposed to that particular item.

Arkansas has a surplus this year so I do not support any tax Increases.

I only would support additional funding as needed but need to explore first . I certainly support adequate financing for prisons, staff, community centers for at risk youth etc.

I would say that we need to hire, admit & contract with the best available options we have with NO regard to Race, ethnicity or gender.

We need to train & equip able bodies welfare recipients to get back in the work force. I support reducing our welfare spending through education.
1. Support eduation and proper funding. Increase the quality of teacher in the classroom and supporting education for all legal citizens of the USA. 2. Support the timber industry. I will support the reduction of the energy consumption tax in our state. 3. I will support the NRA. Before I vote to increase funding , I want to understand the ramifications to the state budget and evaluate the way the current money is being spent.
